Professional Liability Waiver and Disclaimer

This Professional Liability Waiver and Disclaimer (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Bertena LLC, including all affiliated businesses, programs, brands, and offerings, namely Ancient Arts of the Priestess Academy, Bertena’s Books, Inner Bliss Spiritual Sanctuary, and Bertena’s Spiritual Sanctuary (collectively referred to as “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and the undersigned participant, client, student, or purchaser (“you” or “Client”).

By accessing, purchasing, enrolling in, attending, or otherwise participating in any services, classes, events, sessions, programs, or materials offered by the Company, whether in person or online, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Agreement.

1. Nature of Services

The Company provides spiritual, educational, and wellness-based services, which may include but are not limited to:

• Yoga and movement practices
• Meditation and mindfulness practices
• Reiki, energy work, and spiritual healing modalities
• Tarot, oracle, and tea leaf readings
• Spiritual coaching, mentoring, and classes
• Priestess training and spiritual development programs
• Spiritual events, workshops, and ceremonies
• Digital courses, recordings, written materials, and publications

All services are offered for educational, spiritual, and personal growth purposes only.

2. No Medical, Psychological, Legal, or Financial Advice

You understand and agree that the Company does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

• Energy work, spiritual coaching, and readings are not substitutes for professional medical care, mental health treatment, legal counsel, or financial advice.
• You are solely responsible for seeking qualified professionals for any medical, mental health, legal, or financial concerns.
• No information provided by the Company should be relied upon as a replacement for professional advice.

3. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that participation in yoga, movement, meditation, energy work, spiritual practices, events, and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, emotional discomfort, spiritual or psychological responses, and unforeseen effects.

You voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, losses, or damages, whether known or unknown, arising from your participation in the Company’s services or use of its materials.

You agree to listen to your body, honor your personal limits, and discontinue participation if you experience discomfort or distress.

4. Personal Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

• You are responsible for your own physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
• Results from spiritual services, coaching, readings, or practices are not guaranteed.
• Spiritual interpretations and intuitive insights are subjective and should be understood as guidance, not absolute truth or prediction.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company, its owners, employees, contractors, instructors, facilitators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your participation in services or use of materials, including but not limited to injury, loss, emotional distress, or dissatisfaction.

In any event, the Company’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service or product giving rise to the claim.

6. Digital Content and Online Participation

You understand that:

• Digital classes, recordings, and materials are provided “as is.”
• Technical issues, internet disruptions, or access limitations may occur and are not grounds for liability.
• You are responsible for creating a safe and appropriate environment when engaging in online or recorded practices.

7. Global Clients and Governing Law

You acknowledge that the Company serves clients worldwide and that laws regarding liability and consumer rights vary by jurisdiction.

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bertena LLC is legally registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, demands, losses, damages, or expenses, including legal fees, arising out of your participation in services or violation of this Agreement.

9. Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By purchasing, enrolling, attending, or otherwise engaging with the Company’s services or materials, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age, or have legal guardian consent.
• You have read and understood this Agreement.
• You voluntarily agree to all terms contained herein.
