Gentle, Inclusive Yoga and Sacred Movement for Every Body
The Yoga Teacher Path
This pathway is for students who want to complete the requirements to teach yoga professionally. You will learn how to plan and lead safe, welcoming, accessible yoga classes while developing your own authentic teaching voice.
The Personal and Spiritual Path
This pathway is for students who want the knowledge, experience, and personal transformation of yoga teacher training without the intention of teaching professionally.
Or Wait to Decide
You do not have to decide that you are ready to teach before beginning. Sometimes the calling becomes clearer as the journey unfolds.
We will discuss in the consultation and throughout the training.
Choose Your Path
Students may enter the program through one of two pathways:

This Training May Be for You If…

No advanced yoga experience is required.
A willingness to learn, practice, reflect, and grow is far more important than physical ability.

The Ancient Arts of the Priestess Academy

You do not have to be young, thin, flexible, athletic, or able to perform advanced poses to become a meaningful yoga teacher.
At Rose Temple Yoga School, we believe yoga belongs to every body.
This 200-hour yoga teacher training was created for women who want a more compassionate, inclusive, and spiritually grounded approach to yoga.
It is especially welcoming to women over 40, beginners, plus-size students, people with limited mobility, and those living with chronic illness or physical limitations.
Whether you feel called to teach yoga or simply want to deepen your own spiritual practice, there is a place for you here.
You have wanted to become a yoga teacher but wondered whether you were flexible, healthy, young, or experienced enough.
You want to learn how to make yoga more accessible to different bodies and abilities.
You are drawn to gentle, chair, restorative, Yin, somatic, or spiritually centered yoga.
You want to deepen your personal practice, even if you do not plan to teach.
You want to understand yoga as a complete way of living—not simply a series of poses.
You feel called to help others reconnect with their bodies in a compassionate and empowering way.
Throughout this 200-hour program, you will explore:
This is not a program built around achieving the “perfect pose.” It is a training in learning how to meet people where they are.
The 2027 training begins in January and continues through November.
The program is offered:
Students joining through Zoom will still be expected to participate actively, complete assignments, practice teaching, and meet all graduation requirements.
A complete training calendar and course expectations will be provided before the program begins.
Rose Temple Yoga School’s training is accredited through the American Yoga Council.
Yoga Alliance accreditation is currently pending. Acceptance into the training does not guarantee Yoga Alliance registration unless and until the school’s application is formally approved.

What You Will Receive
Your training experience includes:
Students on the teaching pathway who successfully complete all academic, attendance, practice, and teaching requirements will receive a 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate.
Many people feel called toward yoga teaching but quietly believe they do not look like a yoga teacher.
Rose Temple Yoga School was created to challenge that belief.
Your body does not disqualify you. Your age does not disqualify you. Your health history does not erase your wisdom. You do not have to master advanced poses to hold compassionate space for another person.
The experiences that once made you feel different may become the very experiences that allow someone else to feel safe in your class.
Your body belongs in yoga.
Your wisdom belongs in the room.
Your path can begin here.
