They were healers, oracles, temple leaders, ritualists, mystics, poets, counselors, and keepers of the divine feminine mysteries. They tended the sacred flame, interpreted dreams, led ceremonies, honored the cycles of the moon and earth, and served as bridges between the human and the holy.<p style="box-sizing: border-box; padding: 0px; margin: -4px 0px 14px; color: rgb(15, 17, 17); font-family: &quot;Amazon Ember&quot;, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;">And then, slowly and deliberately, their stories were erased.<p style="box-sizing: border-box; padding: 0px; margin: -4px 0px 14px; color: rgb(15, 17, 17); font-family: &quot;Amazon Ember&quot;, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;">The Lost Lineage of the Soul: Reclaiming the Ancient Path of the Priestess is a powerful journey through history, spirituality, and personal remembrance. Blending scholarship, sacred practice, and divine feminine wisdom, Bertena Varney guides readers through the forgotten lineage of ancient priestesses and shows how their legacy still lives within modern women today.<p style="box-sizing: border-box; padding: 0px; margin: -4px 0px 14px; color: rgb(15, 17, 17); font-family: &quot;Amazon Ember&quot;, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;">This book explores the great cultural forgetting that removed women from spiritual authority and replaced the priestess with patriarchal religious structures. From Mesopotamia and Egypt to Greece, Rome, the Middle Ages, the witch trials, and the modern goddess revival, readers are invited to rediscover the women who once served as sacred leaders in their communities.<p style="box-sizing: border-box; padding: 0px; margin: -4px 0px 14px; color: rgb(15, 17, 17); font-family: &quot;Amazon Ember&quot;, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;">But this is not only a history book.<p style="box-sizing: border-box; padding: 0px; margin: -4px 0px 14px; color: rgb(15, 17, 17); font-family: &quot;Amazon Ember&quot;, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;">It is also a spiritual map for women who feel called to something deeper.<p style="box-sizing: border-box; padding: 0px; margin: -4px 0px 14px; color: rgb(15, 17, 17); font-family: &quot;Amazon Ember&quot;, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;">Through the lens of the priestess as archetype, historical role, and living energy, this book offers a grounded framework for reclaiming your own sacred path.
